Hoffberger Moving Systems is an independent commercial moving and storage company serving the Baltimore region and points throughout the East Coast. We offer comprehensive, safe, and hassle-free relocation services for hospitals, industry-leading companies, research facilities, warehouse facilities, libraries, museums, universities and government offices.

Founded in November 2007 by Margaret and Michael Hoffberger, the operations, dispatch, warehousing and project management staff have been involved in the commercial moving industry for over 25 years.  We employ only our own, professionally trained, full-time staff for the entire duration of each move. Our supervisors, furniture installers and drivers have more than 100 years’ combined experience in the commercial moving industry.  They work as a team with our dispatchers and movers and pride themselves on communication, reliability, courtesy, promptness, safety and professionalism.  All of our staff members receive extensive training before being placed in the field.  We maintain a low mover to supervisor ratio to ensure we exceed our clients’ expectations on every assignment.

We have a fleet of 24-foot straight trucks equipped with E-tracking, G.P.S., air-ride suspension, and 5,000-pound lift-gates.  In addition, we have passenger vans to transport personnel and support smaller moves and deliveries.  Should the job require more transportation, we have immediate access to rental trucks and vans.

HMS has the experience, specialized equipment and tools to complete any project, whether large or small, in an efficient and professional manner.  We have an extensive inventory of moving equipment for use in all types of relocations.
